Workers hoisted Hobby Lobby’s sign into place Wednesday as crews prepare the building for the store’s targeted opening on Monday, Oct. 17.
The 46,000 square-foot facility is located at the site of the former Orchard Supply Hardware store on Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus.
The new store is expected to bring 35–50 jobs to the community, paying $15.35 per hour for full-time and $10.23 per hour for part-time associates.
Hobby Lobby has more than 700 stores across the nation, offering home décor products, and arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday.
