Event director Robb Mesecher welcomes the riders of the 100 mile timed bike ride of the inaugural Grand Fondo Bike Race of Santa Clarita on Saturday morning to benefit the Davis Phinney foundation for Parkinsons. The day long event featuring two distance rides and family entertainment was held at The City of Santa Clarita Activity Center in Santa Clarita. Mesecher said he was thankful to the City of Santa Clarita for their help in making the event happen and the 500 expected riders for their support to a great cause the Davis Phinney foundation for Parkinsons.
