Trinity Classical Academy football ended a four-game losing streak on Friday night, shutting out Firebaugh, 32-0, on the road at Lynwood High School.

“A win always feels good,” said coach Les Robinson, whose team is now 4-5 overall and 1-1 in the Prep League. “We’re just happy to be in the game and be able to play the sport.”

In the air,Knights quarterback  Tyler Lee was 9-of-17 for 134 yards, one touchdown and one interception. On the ground, he had 75 yards on 20 carries.

Koby Schafer was the Knights’ leading receiver with 94 yards and one touchdown. Trinity freshman quarterback Rick Roberts threw for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

Next Friday, the Knights are on the road again at Polytechnic High in Pasadena.
