A man was struck by a Toyota pickup truck while riding a bicycle in the street near Bouquet Canyon Road and Valencia Boulevard in Saugus Saturday afternoon, according to officials with the L.A. County Fire Department.
The bicyclist, who was approximately 45 years old, was injured and transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for moderate injuries.
The incident was reported at 2:34 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
