The Los Angeles County Fire Department issued a video warning for those living in local waterways including streams, washes, rivers.

In the video posted to Twitter at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, Inspector Richard Licon asks the public to contact local authorities if they have any knowledge of people still residingĀ in inlets prone to flooding.

“As inclement weather approaches, we want individuals sheltering in and around local L.A. County waterways to seek higher ground,” Licon says in the video.
