Friday the 20th proved a little less eventful – if not whole lot luckier – for seven people arrested on drug offences at a Saugus home Friday the 13th.

Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station carried out a probation check at a home on the

28900 block of Garnet Canyon Road where they arrested five men and two women.

“Seven adults were arrested for misdemeanor charges, six were narcotics charges and the seventh was a misdemeanor possession of account information without owner’s permission charge,” Lt. Brenda Cambra told The Signal Friday.

Most of the defendants posted bail but are still expected to show up at the Santa Clarita Courthouse.

Male suspects include: a 30-year-old handyman from Santa Clarita; a 29-year-old Saugus man; a 31-year-old electrician from Canyon Country; a 27-year-old man from La Mirada and a 30-year-old Valencia man.

Women arrested in the raid included a 25-year-old Canyon Country student and 30-year-old unemployed woman from Canoga Park.
