Eleanor McQuillen had 19 points in the Wildcats’ win and Katie Joyner added 15 points. For the Grizzlies, Serene Tyus had 14 points and Alexxys Banuelos had nine. West Ranch is 6-16 overall and 1-4 in league play.
GV, who lost their 12th straight league game, is now 8-13 and 0-5 in league. The Cats next play Valencia at home on Friday and the Grizzlies will take on Canyon on the road on the same day.
Valencia 76, Hart 28
The Vikings remain undefeated and at the top of this year’s Foothill League standings. Kayla Konrad had 18 points and Ashlee Ane scored 14. Valencia is 18-4 overall and 5-0 in league, while Hart is 8-12 and 4-1. Hart next plays Saugus on Friday at Saugus.
Canyon 59, Saugus 28
Talia Taufaasau and Daisy Cardenas each had 12 points for the Cowboys, who improve to 13-8 overall and 4-1 in Foothill League play. Saugus is 10-13 and 2-3.
