WHAT:           SoCalGas will continue to implement additional safety enhancements and integrity assessments, including well inspections and modifications, at the Santa Clarita Honor Rancho natural gas storage facility. This work will include the use of tall equipment such as workover rigs and may result in some natural gas odor and noise.

We do not anticipate any service interruptions to customers, though residents and local businesses may smell an odor of natural gas and may also hear some work-related noise.

WHERE:        Honor Rancho Storage Facility, located near the intersection of West Rye Canyon Road and Brady Parkway in Santa Clarita.

WHEN:          SoCalGas crews will begin this next phase of work on March 1 and are expected to complete this work December, weather and other conditions permitting.

NOTE:           Residents with questions may contact SoCalGas’ call center at 1-800-427-2200. The call center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
