SCV Sports Report: West Ranch boys golf beats Foothill Tech

West Ranch 388, Foothill Tech 468

The Wildcats’ Gunnar Murray and Favian Busnawi each scored 2-over 74 and were named co-medalists of the match, which took place at Olivias Links on Tuesday.

Tyler Li was 7-over 79, Jack Dudeck was 8-over 80 and Ashton Lee was 9-over 81.

Girls lacrosse

Royal 11, West Ranch 8

The Wildcats fell on the road to Royal High of Simi Valley on Tuesday evening. Their next game will be away at Culver City High.

College baseball

Univ. of Antelope Valley 10, TMU 1

The Mustangs’ Jonah Jerrard went 2-for-4 at the plate and scored the teams’ only run. TMU is now 10-11 on the season.

Prep softball

Santa Clarita Christian 16, Albert Einstein Academy 6

SCCS’s Hailey Aguilar went 2-for-2 at the plate with four RBIs and struck out eight batters in the circle.

Austen Hermanson went 2-for-3 with two triples and five RBIs for the Cardinals, while teammate Lynette Elhilu went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs.
