SCV Sports Report: SCCS softball, Trinity baseball pick up wins

Prep Softball

SCCS 16, Einstein 6

Pitcher Hailey Aguilar threw eight strikeouts and was 2-for-2 at the plate with four RBIs for the Cardinals on Tuesday afternoon.

Also for SCCS, Austen Hermanson was 2-for-3 with two triples and five RBIs, Lynette Elhilu was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs and Kayleigh Moss went 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Sydnee Skinner was 1-for-2.

The Cards move to 1-0 on the season and next play Friday at California City, while the Rockets are 0-1 and play Friday at Desert Christian.

Trinity 17, YULA 7

The Knights took home their first win of the season on Tuesday at Hart against YULA of Los Angeles. Trinity is 1-1 and plays tomorrow at 4 p.m. against Pacifica Christian High of Santa Monica at Hart.
