Crash on Highway 126 results in minor injuries

A head-on collision on westbound Highway 126 resulted in at least one minor injury, California Highway Patrol officials said.

The collision between a black Honda Accord and a red pickup truck occurred east of the Filmore Fish Hatchery.

“Injuries were minor, so that’s a good thing,” said Scott Perry, CHP dispatcher.

Travelers driving west on Highway 126 reported brief traffic delays, but officials were only on scene for 40 minutes.
