Hart baseball defeated Rio Mesa High of Oxnard 5-4 at home and moved to 3-1 on the season.

Brendan Henry had a two-RBI double and Cole Roederer had a three-run home run.

The Indians next play Frontier High of Bakersfield at home Saturday at 10 a.m.

Cleveland 4, Saugus 0

Centurion pitcher Brandyn Cruz had a no-hitter for five innings, but Cleveland strung together five hits and four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Saugus is 1-4 on the year.

Oaks Christian 2, Valencia 1

The Vikings are now 3-2 this season and have a double-header against Agoura on Saturday at home. The first game begins at 11 a.m.

Softball

Golden Valley 9, Faith Baptist 0

The Grizzlies shut out the Contenders at home. GV is on the road for the next two games and will play Fillmore on Thursday and Agoura on Friday. Both games begin at 3:30 p.m.

Golden Valley is 5-2 this season.

Valencia 5, Agoura 2 (JV)

The Vikings defeated the Chargers at home. They next play Alemany next Tuesday at home at 3:30 p.m.
