A two-boat collision on Castaic Lake resulted in at least one man being ejected into the water Monday.

The incident happened shortly after 4:15 p.m. Monday when emergency response officials received a call of a boating collision.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the 32100 block of Castaic Lake Drive for a “boating accident,” Fire Department Inspector Gustavo Medina told The Signal.

“One person was ejected from a boat,” he said.

According to one official with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Parks Bureau, a lake rescue was initiated once reports of the crash were learned.

“One male adult was ejected out of the boat,” he said, noting the possibility of other people ending up in the water as well.

“All people were reported out of the water, conscious and breathing,” he said. “There were lifeguards standing by the launch ramp.”
