The Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita Valley hosted a gala Friday to raise funds for the organization.

Dozens of attendees came to the event.

Suitcases transformed into a work of art by local artists were auctioned off to the highest bidder. Each suitcase had a prize in it. Other prizes included bed and breakfast stays, golf packages, theme park tickets with hotel, massages and spa packages and more.
