A hit-and-run northbound on Highway 14 south of Red Rover Mine Road caused a vehicle fire and the shutdown of the carpool lane, officials said.

“It was a vehicle fire, there were no injuries,” said Officer Alex Rubio with the Traffic Management Center.

At least two vehicles were involved with the incident.

According to the SigAlert website, a one hour delay was expected after the collision.

All lanes have since cleared.
