Patient airlifted after jeep overturns

One person was airlifted to the hospital after their jeep overturned on an off-road near the 13800 block of Sierra Highway, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“A copter responded to help locate the patient,” said Supervising Dispatcher Art Marrujo.

The helicopter located the crash site about 20 minutes after the original call went out to officials at 1:25 p.m.

According to officials, the person was airlifted to a local hospital with a possible broken arm.

The patient was not trapped in the vehicle when officials located the crash site.
