One donation can save three lives.

On Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the City of Santa Clarita and the American Red Cross are partnering to provide a Community Blood Drive at the central location of City Hall. Residents will have the opportunity to donate blood at City Hall in the Century Room, located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard.

Blood donations are an ever-present need and just one donation can help save up to three lives. National statistics from the American Red Cross show that every two seconds someone needs a unit of blood.

Residents interested in signing up to donate blood at the Community Blood Drive can do so at redcrossblood.org, using sponsor code cityofsantaclarita. On donation day, participants can go directly to the Century Room on the first floor for evaluation to ensure they are eligible to donate. Save time on donation day by using RapidPass. RapidPass allows you to start the process before getting to the donation site, saving you approximately 15 minutes. Visit www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass for more information. All participants must have a valid ID to donate.

For more information about the Community Blood Drive, please contact Amanda Santos at (661) 255-4923 or [email protected].
