A mobile home resident described as “disgruntled” was detained by local sheriff’s deputies Thursday after firing about eight shots into a nearby trailer inside the Valencia Travel Village park.

No one was hurt the incident, Sgt. Brian Allen of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station told The Signal Thursday.

Deputies responded to calls of shots fired shortly after 1 p.m. at the mobile home park on the south side of Highway 126, just west of Commerce Center Drive.

“Apparently some guy with a really bad attitude fired some rounds out of his trailer,” he said, noting at least eight shots were fired.

“This guy was pretty disgruntled about something,” Allen said.

“All I know is there are bullet holes in a trailer and nobody’s hurt,” he said.

Deputies responded to a mobile home near the Valencia Travel Village baseball field at the western most edge of the park.

They found at least one window of the targeted trailer was shattered.

Investigators looking into the incident were seen putting on blue latex examination gloves as they inspected the scene.
