The SCV Sheriff’s Department responded with a large force to The Colony Townhomes in Canyon Country Sunday afternoon after a report came in that shots were fired.
Seven units with the SCV Sheriff’s Department convened on The Colony and found that the incident was not as serious as originally expected, according to Deputy Ryan Elsee with the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
One man was taken into custody for a mental evaluation.
“It originally came out as a shots fired call and then they ended up taking this guy into custody,” said Elsee.
