After months of chemotherapy and one final scan Monday afternoon, Valencia High graduate Chad Bible received a call later in the evening confirming that he is in fact cancer free.
Bible, who plays baseball for San Diego State, was diagnosed Jan. 10 with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Beginning in February, he underwent 12 rounds of chemotherapy, the final round coming on July 27.
“CANCER FREE!!!! Let’s go!!,” Bible posted on Twitter. “So excited and beyond grateful for everything life has given me. Thank you all for the love and support! #YES!”
