Units with L.A. County Fire and the Angeles National Forest spent time Sunday morning looking for the occupant of a single, flipped vehicle at the Texas Canyon Ranger Station near Bouquet Canyon Road in the Angeles National Forest. Although, the patient was unable to be located.

“They tried to get to the patient (and) couldn’t find a patient,” said Supervisor Cheryl Sims with L.A. County Fire. “They even had a copter on it for recon to look for the patient.”

At least five units including the helicopter searched for the victim of the solo-vehicle collision that was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday but were unable to find him or her.

“Nobody was found,” said Sims.

The incident was reported near the intersection of Heard Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road, just outside of Santa Clarita. L.A. County Fire units became available again after approximately 30 minutes.
