CrossFit Rye Canyon owners Jose Barajas, Ernie Bolanos, Mike Pobokhian and Amy Phan are inviting the public to join them at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the gym, 25427 Rye Canyon Road in Valencia, for a unique fundraiser to support the families of five officers killed in the line of duty in Dallas last summer.

The Dallas Five Workout is designed to promote good health and fitness, while benefitting the Halo Fund.

Participants are asked to contribute a $15 donation, which will be delivered directly to the families of the fallen officers through the Halo Fund, a tax-exempt fund that provides financial services and support to the families of the Dallas Police Officers who have been killed in the line of duty. CrossFit Heat in Dallas will be hosting its own event with its Dallas Five Throwdown.

About CrossFit Rye Canyon CrossFit Rye Canyon, located at 25427 Rye Canyon Road in Valencia is one of three CrossFit gyms in Santa Clarita Valley. Members have an opportunity to utilize physical exercise philosophy and competitive sport. Workouts combine interval training, weightlifting, gymnastics and more, giving participants the ability to tailor their workouts to fulfill their fitness needs and desires. The facility is staffed with qualified coaches and trainers from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., noon to 1 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
