Cruzin’ for Life was founded in 2004 by Clifford Labastida. He and his brothers had an idea to have an alternative way to raise funds to help fight cancer and have fun doing so with cars. Clifford enlisted six other good friends to form the Cruzin’ for Life Board of Directors, all of who were either born in or longtime Santa Maria residents.
Participating Santa Maria hotels are: The Historic Santa Maria Inn, Radisson Hotel, Holiday Inn and Travelodge. All hotels located in Santa Maria are located within five miles of the Santa Maria Fairpark and offer easy access to the show.
