The National Association of Letter Carriers conducts the 25th Annual
Food Drive in continuous effort to Stamp Out Hunger!

The SCV Food Pantry is the recipient of the food collected in the Santa Clarita Valley by
our local letter carriers. These donations help keep the Pantry stocked during the
Summer months when donations are typically at their lowest and the need is at its
highest. Children are out of school and do not have the benefit of the breakfast and
lunch programs at their schools — causing an even greater burden to families already
struggling.

The SCV Food Pantry needs your help on Saturday, May 13, 2017, to unload the
Post Office vehicles of food picked up by the local carriers on their daily route, transfer it
to the Food Pantry trucks and help unload and place in the off-site storage facility until it
can be sorted and distributed to our neighbors in need.

If you or your group can volunteer Saturday, May 13 from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm, or
4:30 – 7:30 pm (highest need), please contact the SCV Food Pantry at
661-255-9078 to sign up and help STAMP OUT HUNGER in the SCV.

*All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
