Crow’s Nest Productions presents Uncommon Women and Others. The first play by Tony- and Pulitzer-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein (The Heidi Chronicles), UNCOMMON WOMEN AND OTHERS eavesdrops on the bittersweet reunion of five “Ivy League” women six years after their graduation. Flashing back to their senior year at the liberal arts college Mount Holyoke, the diverse young women relive how their new awareness of feminism and the sexual revolution shaped their career goals, dating experiences and identities at the start of the 1970’s Women’s Liberation Movement. As seen through vignettes that are touching, cynical and often funny, these unforgettable women’s “uncommon” attitudes remain as forward-thinking and relevant as ever. This production covers mature content.
