United Way of Greater Los Angeles is hosting its 11th annual HomeWalk, a 5K Family Run/Walk to end homelessness at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. Funds raised will go directly towards ending homelessness in L.A. County. Over the past 10 years, HomeWalk has mobilized more than 85,000 people and raised $7.6 million in funding that goes directly toward permanent housing for our homeless neighbors. Currently, more than 57,000 people in L.A. County are homeless—an increase of 23 percent since 2016. In order to increase awareness of the homeless crisis in L.A. County, United Way invites all members of the community to register, fund raise, donate or volunteer.
