Change is inevitable in life. Some change is chosen, other arrives and challenges us to question ourselves and our very identity. When a woman becomes a widow, her life changes abruptly. She may face a deep set of complex feelings that leaves her feeling isolated and rudderless. The feelings interweave through the practical changes and challenges of being, perhaps for the first time, on her own. This may lead to isolation and depression. With thoughtful reflection, guidance, and support, widows can find their voice and become empowered to reinvent themselves to lead an enriched life.
Through presentation and interactive discussion, Widows: Finding Your Voice will enlighten and enrich those who have recently, or not so recently, struggled with challenges as they reinvent their lives after a loss. Learn new skills to cope with the unique needs of widows and find comfort and inspiration to move forward.
