Emergency response crews responded to a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning for reports of a car hitting a tree but found no driver, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

The incident happened shortly after 6 a.m. Monday when the California Highway Patrol received reports from motorists of a car into a tree on Bouquet Canyon Road at Vasquez Canyon Road, the Fire Department spokeswoman said.

Paramedics arrived at the crash at 6:36 a.m., she said.

“This was a Camry into a tree,” the Fire Department spokeswoman said. “Paramedics reported that the occupant left the scene.”
