It was a busy afternoon for paramedics responding to the west end of the Santa Clarita Valley Wednesday afternoon.
Two separate traffic collisions about an hour apart each saw at least one person injured and taken to the hospital.
The first of the two crashes happened shortly after 2:35 p.m. near Albert Einstein Academy, on Wiley Canyon Road at Orchard Village Road.
It involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.
“There was a request for an ambulance and one patient was transported to the hospital,” a spokeswoman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
The second crash happened shortly before 3:45 p.m. when two vehicles collided on The Old Road at Stevenson Ranch Parkway near Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant, she said.
The person hurt in that crash was also taken to the hospital.
The identities of both patients, including details about their gender and age, were not disclosed.
