Local sheriff’s deputies reported Friday night that a missing Saugus 16-year-old boy was found by a family member.
The teenager, identified as Daniel Vargas, was last seen around 7 p.m. on Wednesday near Bouquet Canyon and Plum Canyon roads in Saugus.
The teen’s mother reached out to detectives at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and a search was initiated Friday morning.
The was found some time around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
