The California Highway Patrol will escort traffic on Interstate 5 from State Route 138 to Fort Tejon Road, according to social media advisories.

As Santa Clarita remains on pace for another soggy day, snow started sticking to the freeway in Lebec, about 20 miles north of Santa Clarita.

Traffic heading north toward Kern County will be considerably delayed as patrols escort motorists leaving and entering Los Angeles County.

The Signal will provide updates throughout the day as conditions change.
