Josh De Leon scored in the second overtime to lift the Saugus High boys soccer team to a 1-0 win over Colony High of Ontario on the road Saturday in a CIF-Southern Section Division 4 quarterfinal.

Saugus will play the winner of Norwalk and University on Tuesday on the road.

“It was an absolute battle out there,” said Saugus coach Seth Groller. “It was the most intense game of the season for us by far. The defense came up huge on multiple occasions to keep us in the game, and we got the golden goal with three minutes to play in the second overtime off the boot of one of our seniors.”
