Valencia High baseball scored three runs in the top of the seventh to get their third win of the season, 3-2, over Moorpark. The Vikings continue in the Easton Tournament semifinals against Harvard-Westlake on Saturday.

Hart 6, Santa Barbara 4

Hart High baseball defeated Santa Barbara 6-4 at the Easton Tournament. Cole Roederer and Braeden McClain had multiple hits in the Indians’ win. Hart is now 2-1 and next plays Quartz Hill on Saturday in the Easton Tournament.

Simi Valley 1, Saugus 0

The Centurions were no hit Thursday, but pitcher Davis Brown provided a bright spot, tossing five innings of three-hit, one-run baseball.

SCCS 4, Oakwood 0

Cardinals pitcher Noah Dent pitched five scoreless innings with nine strikeouts and one hit allowed. Joe Sparks was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Einstein 8, St. Monica Academy 5

Sam Stulman pitched four innings and had two RBIs off a triple in the Rockets’ season-opening win. Phillip Stulman was 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base.

Boys tennis

Saugus 13, Quartz Hill 5

The Centurions remain undefeated (3-0) behind the efforts of Ryan Buenaventura and Sean O’Connell, who swept in doubles.

Prep softball

Chatsworth 9, Hart 4

Abby Cunningham hit a home run and had two RBIs for the Indians (2-2). Teammate Abby Sweet went 2-for-3, and Jordyn Gasper went 2-for-4.

Andrea Cespedes had two RBIs.

Golden Valley 1, Moorpark 0

Cassidy Cangemi threw a 1-hit shutout and struck out 16. GV is now 2-2.

Boys golf

West Ranch 395, Thousand Oaks 417

The Wildcats are now 2-0. Diego Renteria carded a 5-over 75, Favian Busnawi was 6-over 76, Ashton Lee was 10-over 80 and Gunnar Murray and Tyler Lee both were 12-over 82.

La Canada 377, Valencia 400

Viking Cole Scully won medalist honors shooting a 3-under 69 at Woodley Lakes in Van Nuys. Valencia is 1-1 on the season.
