Santa Clarita Christian varsity baseball beat Trinity Classical Academy, 7-4, on Tuesday at the Hart complex, the 32nd straight Heritage League win for the Cardinals.

SCCS’s Noah Dent pitched seven innings, allowing two earned runs on two hits. He struck out six.

Dent went 1-for-2 at the plate and scored three runs. Josh Sparks went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Joe Sparks went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Varsity baseball

Albert Einstein Academy 13, Santa Clarita Valley International 3

Eric Hovsepian struck out five over five innings for the Rockets (6-2 overall, 3-0 in the Omega League) on Tuesday night. He also went 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs.

Ian Sockett went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Max Cogan went 3-for-3 with four RBIs.

Varsity boys tennis

Golden Valley 12, Canyon 6

Dylan Yu swept three singles sets 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0 for the Grizzlies, who won eight out of nine doubles sets.

Varsity boys lacrosse

West Ranch 10, Glendale 5

The Wildcats improved to 5-5 on the year with Tuesday’s home win.

Teo Domic scored two goals and dished out two assists. Noah Gervasi scored three goals, while Jacob Gandara scored two goals.

Varsity softball

Einstein 23, SCVi 5

Amanda Bin struck out five and allowed no earned runs for the Rockets (2-7 overall, 1-0 in the Omega League).
