A small brush fire broke out along Templin Highway in Castaic on Sunday morning prompting lane closures on the 5 freeway.
The two and a half acre fire started around 7:50 a.m. and has since been 100 percent contained, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The U.S. Forest Service responded to the fire along with the LACFD.
Two lanes were closed on the Northbound 5 freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Twitter account.
