Secrets to Aging Well Workshop
What: Secrets to Aging Well reveals how to live longer, healthier, more vibrant lives. Find out how to slow the aging process and make good choices to achieve better physical health and emotional happiness. Through presentation and interaction, discover the healing power of good lifestyle and nutrition habits.
- Learn the most current information on mindfulness, nutrition, self-care, and physical activity.
- Healthy recipes will be distributed, including one for a scrumptious and healthy brownie truffle made without sugar. (Samples provided)
- Try some pilates movements right in your chair to experience benefits.
- Ease stress and anxiety with a mindfulness guided imagery session.
Workshop presented by Jordana Ruhland, Vassar College graduate and Institute for Integrative Nutrition graduate; studied with world health experts including Deepak Chopra, M.D. and Andrew Weil, M.D. Mindfulness Meditation presented by Linda Ruhland, LMFT from USC, Pepperdine University Psychology; trained in mindfulness meditation as psychotherapy.

AARP Smart Driver Safety Program, Fri & Sat, Nov 17 & 18
What: AARP Smart Driver Safety Program which may qualify participants 50 and over for a discount from your insurance company.

Senior Lunch at Friendly Valley Methodist Church
What: If you are a senior and live in or around the Friendly Valley Country Club, you are invited to lunch here at the Friendly Valley Methodist Church for meals provided by the Santa Clarita Senior Center.
When: Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:45 a.m.-12 p.m.

Silvertone Singers Weekly Meeting
