Rachel Bowers and Gabby Sanchez each logged double-doubles in the team’s third-round win at the Burroughs Tournament.
Bowers had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Sanchez had 14 points to go with 12 rebounds. Brook Mitchell had 15 points on five 3’s. Talia Taufaasau added 13 points and eight rebounds.
Canyon takes on undefeated Ribet Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Burroughs.
