SCV Sheriff’s detectives seek package theft suspect

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted for questioning, following a package theft reported about one week ago.

At approximately 8:37 a.m. on Nov. 29, an individual—pictured in the image above—stole a package from the front of a home located on the 25900 block of Palomita Drive.

The individual walked to the front of the residence, grabbed a package containing electronics and then entered the passenger’s side of what appeared to be a dark blue Toyota Matrix 4-door hatchback sedan.

“Package thefts continue to be a problem in the Santa Clarita Valley and we would like to get him identified as soon as possible,” the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station wrote in a news release.

This individual is described as a white or Hispanic male who is approximately 20 to 30 years old with dark, combed back hair and a goatee.

The SCV Sheriff’s Station is asking anyone who recognizes the individual to contact Detective O’Brien at (661) 255-1121 Ext. 2317.

The public can also submit tips anonymously by calling “LA Crime Stoppers” at 800-222-TIPS (8477), by texting the letters “TIPLA” and the tip to CRIMES (274637), or by using the website at ACrimeStoppers.org and the reference No. 01113.
