Rep. Katie Hill, D-Agua Dulce, is preparing to host a “Congressional Conversation with Congresswoman Hill,” which is a town-hall style event that will require an RSVP to attend.

The event will cover the congresswoman’s first 100 days in office and will end with a question-and-answer session, according to a news release sent Friday. “(The event) is aimed at highlighting the ways recent pieces of House legislation will impact the lives of constituents in the 25th district.”

The event is open to the public and residents are invited to RSVP online at katiehill.house.gov.

The registration link will open at noon on Monday, April 15, according to the release. Those who are unable to access the internet can register over the phone at 661-802-0244.

The event will be livestreamed on Hill’s official social media channels for those who can’t attend, and updates on the location will be provided once available, officials said.

“Please note: Once online registration is filled, a waitlist will become available online and those on the waitlist will be notified of an opening on a first-come, first-served basis, should a cancellation occur,” according to the news release. “If folks are unable to secure a registration online, they are welcome to wait for one day-of at the venue, but seating will first be given to those who pre-registered.”
