West Ranch student Zoe Campos advanced to the final round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur after hitting a 3-over par on Thursday in Augusta, Georgia.
Campos went 4-under par on Wednesday, which combined with her score from Thursday equated to 143 total, slotting her in seventh place. She logged six bogeys and three birdies on the day.
Campos trails leader and No. 1 ranked amateur Jennifer Kupcho by four shots, who combined for a score of 139 after the first two days. The two golfers were tied atop the leaderboard after the first round.
The top 30 golfers advanced to the final round on Saturday. Campos’ tee time is scheduled for 6:50 a.m. PDT.
