Stevenson Ranch resident and Grammy-winning music producer Detail was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of more than a dozen sexual assault charges, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Detail, whose real name is Noel Christopher Fisher, 41, is being investigated for 15 sexual assault charges and five additional felony assault-related charges for incidents between 2010 and 2018, which detectives were notified of on July 31.

Investigators have identified a half-dozen victims with separate allegations, according to detectives.

One of the victims, a Santa Clarita woman whom The Signal is choosing not to identify , obtained a $15 million default judgment against Fisher after he failed to respond to her lawsuit.

The court documents filed in that case allege the victim, an aspiring model and actress who rented an apartment in the SCV, was raped by Fisher on seven different occasions. The victim’s attorney, William Briggs, a partner at Venable, said the victim filed a temporary restraining order against Fisher and notified law enforcement officials at the time the civil complaint was filed last year. Each of the other five defendants with lawsuits pending have separate counsel.

“The victims came forward reporting a sexual assault,” said Sgt. Charlie Gates, who led the investigation for the Special Victims Unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. “He’s in the music industry and the victims are all kind of, or had some ties to or have tried to break into the industry.”

Detectives also are investigating whether there are more victims out there in addition to the six they’ve already spoken with, Gates added.

“We don’t know how many people will want to come forward or if we have more victims but, usually, this is the tip of the iceberg,” he said, in response to whether detectives were investigating any additional claims.

Since 2005, the music producer has been active in the industry and was awarded Grammys for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song in 2015. He has worked with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Ray J and Niki Minaj, according to a Nixle alert posted by the Sheriff’s Department.

“On Aug. 5, 2020, Mr. Fisher was arrested by personnel from the Sheriff’s Department’s Major Crimes Bureau,” read an LASD nixle alert. “Based on the nature of the allegations, (Special Victims Bureau) detectives believe there may be additional potential victims and they are seeking the public’s help in identifying any such victims.”

Fisher was booked at the SCV Sheriff’s Station on Wednesday and is being held in lieu of $6.29 million bail.

Additional details were not immediately available, according to SIB officialsThursday morning The Sheriff’s Department is seeking help from the public regarding any information about the incident and those with information can contact the Special Victims Bureau tip line at 877-710-5273.
