Golden Valley High School alum C.J. Ravenell made his NFL debut for the Tennessee Titans, marking a major milestone in his football journey.

The 2017 Foothill League Co-Lineman of the Year played a significant role in the team’s season that saw the Grizzlies make an appearance in the CIF Southern Section Division 6 final.

Although Golden Valley didn’t win the title, Ravenell totaled 13 sacks in his senior season and took his talents to Missouri Western State following the season.

During his time with the Griffons’ football program, Ravenell appeared in 43 games, recorded 164 tackles and earned All-MIAA honors from his freshman to senior seasons.

He graduated in from Missouri Western State in 2023 and signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a rookie free agent in 2024.

Ravenell spent the entirety of the 2024 NFL season on the Ravens’ practice squad and on Aug. 26 of this year, he was waived.

A day later Ravenell was claimed off waivers by the Titans and made his official debut for the team in Week 2 of the regular season against the Los Angeles Rams.

He recorded 1 solo tackle in the game and in the following week against the Indianapolis Colts, Ravenell tallied 2 total tackles.

The Titans have yet to win this season but they along with Ravenell play again on the road next Sunday at Houston with the game set to begin at 10 a.m.
