Santa Clarita Gathering of Malayalees hosted an Onam celebration at Rio Norte Junior High School on Saturday. The harvest festival, which originates from the southwestern state of Kerala, consisted of “Pookkalam” (floral art), “Thiruvathira” dances, and a festive “Onasadhya,” or community meal.
