The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station is inviting the community to its 34th Annual Halloween Carnival & Haunted Jailhouse, scheduled 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the station.
Parking for the event will be available at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway, and free shuttle service will be provided to the station.
The Haunted Jailhouse event includes live entertainment, vendors, food trucks, games, and a costume contest for all ages. This year’s Haunted Jailhouse features a Friday the 13th-inspired scare experience, said a news release from the station.
This event is a collaboration of the SCV Sheriff’s Station, city of Santa Clarita, and the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley.
Costume contest times by age are:
• 11 a.m. – Ages 3 and under.
• 11:30 a.m. – Ages 4-7.
• 1 p.m. – Ages 8-11.
• 1:30 p.m. – Ages 12-17.
• 2 p.m. – Adults.
A $5 donation is suggested for admission, with proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club and the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
