A 48-year-old Canyon Country man was arrested on suspicion of assault on the 19800 block of Sandpiper Place on Sunday, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies responded to the assault call in which a man was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a woman, according to Shirley Miller, spokeswoman with the station.
The man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault charges, Miller’s statement said.
