A vehicle crashed into a downed tree in Newhall on Thursday night, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department official.
Firefighters were dispatched to reports of a traffic collision at 9:39 p.m. at the intersection of Oak Ridge Drive and Railroad Avenue and when the first unit arrived on the scene of the incident they found a vehicle with damage and a downed tree, said Kaitlyn Aldana, a spokeswoman with the L.A. County Fire Department.
The vehicle involved was a black truck, and major damage was sustained to the truck’s right side, according to observations from the scene.
The city Public Works Department was called to the scene to help assist with the debris scattered throughout the roadway, according to observations from the scene, and no injuries or transport were reported, Aldana said.
