West Ranch girls’ tennis continues to be dominant this season following a road win over Golden Valley.
The Wildcats defeated the Grizzlies, 11-7, and extended their undefeated start to the year with seven straight Foothill League wins.
“I am so impressed with the accomplishments of this team,” West Ranch head coach Paul Orszag said. “They are one of the best teams I’ve ever had.”
Orszag provided the following summary of the match:
Ta’leighah Saulter won all three of her sets over the Grizzlies and is undefeated in individual league play this season.
Audrey Kim won two out of her three sets, along with Kaylie Chung. And in doubles team play, Suprita Yeole and Maddie Park went undefeated in the match as they won all three sets.
Diya Arangil and Aaliya Abrar each won one of their three sets on Tuesday.
The Wildcats play again at home, hosting the Castaic Coyotes, on Tuesday with the matches set to begin at 3 p.m.
As for Golden Valley, the Grizzlies will look to break out of their three-match losing streak on the road at Castaic on Thursday.
