One William S. Hart High School student sustained minor injuries after a fight broke out on Wednesday afternoon, a William S. Hart Union High School District official confirmed.
For unknown reasons, two female students were involved in a fight, Debbie Dunn, the district’s director of communications and community engagement told The Signal.
One of them sustained a minor injury but did not require transportation to a hospital, she added.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 24000 block of Newhall Avenue at 2:25 p.m. in response to a medical emergency, but there was no transportation reported, according to Kaitlyn Aldana, a spokeswoman for the agency.
Deputy Gomez, of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, who declined to provide his first name, stated that the station was aware of an incident at the campus, but deputies were not dispatched to respond.
He also stated that the station was notified the call was a medical emergency call.
