Following the first year of the William S. Hart Union High School District’s full participation in the girls’ flag football season, players from all seven Hart district high schools, plus Vasquez High School of Acton, were selected for all-Foothill League honors.
Player of the Year: Jessica Gutierrez, senior, Hart
Jessica Gutierrez led her Hart Hawks to a second-place finish in the Foothill League and tallied 12 receiving touchdowns as well as five on the ground. Gutierrez ended the season averaging 59.4 receiving yards per game and led the league in receiving yards with 1,367.
Gutierrez also concludes her girls’ flag football career as a league champion. Last season, she was with the 2024 Hart team that won the first-ever Foothill League title in the sport’s first season last year.
