At least one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition following a traffic collision involving a bicyclist in Newhall on Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
The incident was reported as a collision involving a pedestrian and was reported on the 24900 block of North Walnut Street at 4:14 p.m., said Jonathan Torres, public information officer for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Information was limited and it was not immediately known how the collision occurred, but Deputy Taeanes, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, did confirm a bicyclist was involved in the crash. Taeanes declined to provide his first name.
